• Sadho is free for everyday practice. A free account (18+ only) unlocks everything beyond Tap counting. Sadho Plus, an optional paid subscription, is coming.
• Devotional texts are offered in good faith; they are not religious or professional advice.
• Sunrise, sunset and calendar values are calculations and may differ from your local almanac.
• Alarms depend on your phone’s settings — don’t rely on them for anything critical or safety-related.
• With a free account your practice is synced to your account; Tap counting without an account stays on your phone.

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Homat Solutions Private Limited, India (“we”, “us”), the publisher of the Sadho app and this website. By installing or using Sadho you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Who may use Sadho, and your account

Anyone may use Tap counting without an account, for their own personal, non-commercial devotional practice. A Sadho account is only for people aged 18 or older, and you confirm this when you sign up.

You sign in with your email address and a 6-digit code sent to it. Keep access to your email safe, because anyone who can read it can sign in to your account. You can delete your account at any time in Profile › Danger zone › Delete account.

3. Your licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Sadho on devices you own or control, in line with these terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from. You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app.

4. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• copy, modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law expressly allows it;
• remove or change any copyright, trademark or other notices;
• use the app or its content in a way that breaks the law or harms others;
• use Sadho’s name or logo to suggest that we endorse you or your product.

5. Free, Sadho Plus and ads

Sadho is free for everyday practice. Sadho Plus, an optional paid subscription for advanced features, is coming; you will be able to buy it in the app through Google Play or on sadho.in, and it will have its own terms and refund policy, shown to you before you buy. There are no ads today. If Sadho ever shows ads to free users, they will never appear during jaap, alarms or prayers; Sadho Plus will always be ad-free; and we will update our privacy policy before any ads start, asking for your consent where the law requires it.

6. Devotional texts

Mantras and other devotional texts in Sadho are provided in good faith from traditional and public-domain sources. We take care with them, but errors in text, transliteration or translation are possible. They are offered for your personal practice and are not religious, spiritual, medical or other professional advice. For guidance on practice, please consult your own teacher, elders or tradition.

7. Sunrise, sunset and calendar values

Sunrise and sunset times, and any panchang or calendar values shown in the app, are calculated on your phone from your approximate location (or a default city). They can differ from local almanacs, temple calendars or the reckoning of your tradition. For observances where exact timing matters, please follow your own tradition’s calendar.

8. Alarms, timers and reminders

Alarms, timers and reminders depend on your phone: battery-saving settings, Do Not Disturb, volume, permissions, software updates and the phone maker’s own restrictions can delay or stop them. We work hard to make them reliable (see Support), but please do not rely on Sadho for critical, medical or safety timing, such as taking medicine or waking for travel.

9. Your data

With a free account, your practice is synced to your account, so it is the same on your phone and at sadho.in/app. Voice training and your location stay on your phone and are never uploaded, so they are not restored on a new phone. Tap counting without an account stays on your phone: if you uninstall the app or reset your phone, it is gone. How we handle data is explained in our privacy policy.

10. Intellectual property

The Sadho app, its design and code, the name “Sadho” and the Sadho logo belong to Homat Solutions Private Limited. Open-source components are used under their own licences — see Credits. Traditional and public-domain devotional texts remain free for everyone; we claim no ownership of them. Your notes, mantras and other content you add remain yours.

11. The app is provided “as is”

We provide Sadho “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, Homat Solutions Private Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use Sadho — including a missed alarm or reminder, or a difference in a calculated time. Nothing in these terms limits any liability, or any right you have as a consumer, that cannot be limited or excluded under Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Stopping use

You can stop using Sadho at any time. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account — to remove your account and its synced data, use Profile › Danger zone › Delete account. We may stop offering or updating the app.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when Sadho Plus launches. We will change the “Last updated” date and version above, and for significant changes we will also give notice in the app or on this website before they take effect. If you keep using Sadho after the change, the new terms apply.

15. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any right you have under consumer protection law to go to a forum near you, the courts at [city to be added] have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
