Where the content comes from
Sadho works out the panchang and festivals on your phone and takes its texts from the sources below. The full list, with the source and licence of every Library text, is in Sources & licences.
- Panchang — Worked out on this phone. The Sun and the Moon: Astronomy Engine (Don Cross), MIT licence.
- Festivals and vrat — Worked out on this phone from the panchang; nothing is copied from a printed calendar.
- Gurpurab dates — The original Nanakshahi calendar (Pal Singh Purewal, 2003)
- Reading a photo — Google ML Kit text recognition, on this phone (Google's ML Kit terms).
